Dear Hebrew School Parents,

We hope you are settling into the crazy Back-to-School routine and your children are enjoying Monday nights at Hebrew School. We are excited to announce the formation of the Chabad of Stony Brook Hebrew School PTA.

When you add hardworking parents who are dedicated to doing the best for our children, it can only enhance our children’s Jewish educational experience. We hope that this team of parents and teachers will provide and sponsor many programs/events throughout the year that will encourage us, as families, to come together. For example, many of us enjoyed a wonderful HS Shabbat dinner, which was graciously funded by the Hebrew School. It would be great if we can plan fundraisers that will allow us to enjoy more events such as this.

We are in the very beginning stages of the PTA and we are asking for your help! We are in need of parents who are willing to be a part of the planning and organizing. We are asking each family to pay $10 per child annually to become an official member of our PTA. These dues will be used for the sole purpose of enhancing your child’s Jewish education.

We hope you’ll attend our first meeting, Monday, November 23, 2015 @ 5:45 PM at the Chabad (while your children are in HS classes).
